My name is Federico López. I have been, for more than 10 years, teaching music with a clear and organized method which takes in account the specific needs and context of any student. In my classes there will be always available a space for dialogue to accompany the student and to improve the quality of the lessons. My own investigations have given me the possibility to apply a good method of teaching which strives for a solid development of aural skills. A little about me: I am a Music Professor graduated from the the teaching institution E.S.E.A.M. "Juan P. Esnaola" where I studed with Fernando Perez, one of the most important pianists and pedagogues of Argentina. I am soon to be graduated as composer in the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. I possess a great deal of experience as a performing pianist and singer. I am rehearsal pianist and singer of the most important choral groups of Argentina like Grupo de Canto Coral-GCC, Trilce and Orfeón de Buenos Aires. I hope to be the one to guide you on this path of learning music! My best, Federico Bio: Federico Nicolás López was Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1993. He began his studies in music in the Conservatory “Astor Piazzolla” and got his degree as “interpreter” in piano in the E.S.E.A.M. “Juan P. Esnaola” where he finished his tutelage under pianist Fernando Perez. Currently, he studies composition at the National University of the Arts (UNA). As a composer he studies with Luis Mucillo and has premiered several works for choir, piano, and chamber ensembles. In 2017 and 2018 he received the prestigious scholarship of “Mozarteum Argentino” to continue his studies under Mucillo. His choral work “The White Locust Tree” reached the semifinals in the “Ravel Composition Competition” in Italy on the Category “B” and was selected by Ablaze Records to be premiered on its upcoming CD “New Choral Voices Vol.3”, it also won in 2018 the 3rd prize on the category Choral Music in the CAMU’s “Tribuna Musical” (Argentinian Music Council) and he also received an honorable mention for his song cycle for baritone and piano “Lines Written in Dejection” in the category Contemporary Music. On 2019 he also received an honorable mention, on the same competition, for his choral piece “Handinneres” and his song cycle for soprano and piano “Suite sobre textos de Federico García Lorca”. In 2020 “Ediciones GCC” will publish his choral piece “La Fontaine”. He is the pianist of the choir “Trilce” and “Orfeón de Buenos Aires” in which he also sings, both conducted by Néstor Andrenacci. As chorister he also sings in GCC-Grupo de Canto Coral conducted by Néstor Andrenacci. He was assistant conductor and organist of “Conjunto Musica Prohibita”, a prestigious male chorus specialized in sacred polyphony of the renaissance, also conducted by Pablo Banchi.
