My online math classes follow a structured yet flexible flow designed to make learning simple, engaging, and effective for students of all levels. I begin each session with a quick revision of the previous topic to ensure continuity.
After the revision, I introduce the new topic in a step-by-step manner, starting from basic concepts and gradually progressing to more advanced levels. I focus on explaining the “why” behind each concept, not just the “how,” so students develop a deeper understanding rather than memorizing formulas.
I solve a few examples myself while explaining each step clearly. Then, I encourage students to solve similar questions on their own.
In addition, I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving calculation speed, and teaching effective exam strategies.
Offer one-to-one coaching. I teach concepts, strategies to decode the question, and methods of solving. I am a committed learner and sincere spokesperson for my subject, and can balance teaching with the current digitalization technique, and also try to make my students understand the subject with every possible way and terminology, and at the same time create a friendly environment for the students. I strongly adhere to the conception that practice makes a man perfect. I timely provide worksheets and schedule tests for my students for their consecutive improvement and to build confidence in the particular subject as I am inclined to the principle “Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere “. I try to work with students for longer periods of time to help them with various competitive exams including Olympiads. This all starts with making my students comfortable and fearless with Mathematics so that they get passionate about it and can pursue their exams and career smoothly. I am grateful for checking out my profile. Mathematics is one of the subjects I enjoy tutoring. I am committed to helping students whichever way I can. At high school, I was very good in Mathematics namely A-level, further Maths etc. I studied Actuarial Science in my first degree which entails Maths, finance, statistics, insurance and some computer modules. I have experience in formal tutoring for many years years. I tutored some of my classmates and other students. Currently, I am studying a Masters’ degree in Actuarial Science at Heriot-Watt University. Topics such statistics, probability, calculus, algebra etc. are all quite easier for me to teach. I enjoyed from my previous tutoring experience since it helped students achieve their goals. Maths seems difficult since it takes a lot of time and energy. Many people are not able to keep up the pace with Maths lesson and thereby fall behind. Foundation is the key, without the right one students pursuing more complex concepts are doomed to face difficulties at some point. I encourage my students and assure them that there is still a chance. I take my time to discuss issues with my students concerning subject areas. It will enable me to know the appropriate learning style to use. It will also help me know the way they think and learn.
