È importante approcciarsi alla chimica o alla biologia, passo dopo passo. Mi piace far lavorare molto sul ragionamento. Aiutare con schemi/riassunti o power point da me realizzati, su richiesta. Puntare all'essenziale per poi riuscire a comprendere l'intera materia, passo per passo. Sto vicino al ragazzo, finchè non ha compreso l'argomento. Ci vuole tanta pazienza e impegno per imparare. Ad ogni fine capitolo/argomento propongo piccoli esoneri per riuscire a fare il passo in avanti, così da poter tornare indietro e avere la certezza di avere le basi per poter andare avanti. Mi chiamo Erika e vivo a Palermo con la mia famiglia. La mia vita è sempre stata ricca di eventi formativi ed indimenticabili, che mi hanno aiutato a crescere e maturare molto. Ho iniziato a danzare all’età di 8 anni e dal 2018 fino al 2023 ho operato come ballerina professionista e insegnante di danza orientale e caraibica, un’esperienza che ha forgiato in me una resilienza fuori dal comune, la capacità di gestire lo stress da prestazione e un’attenzione maniacale al dettaglio. Ho iniziato ad insegnare da minorenne ad adulti e bambini in una palestra di Palermo e da là poi ho continuato fino ad un paio di anni fa. Oggi, come studentessa di Medicina a indirizzo Tecnologico (MedIT) presso l'Università degli Studi di Palermo, ho trasposto quel rigore nel campo scientifico. Il mio passaggio dal palcoscenico alla realtà clinica non è stato un vero e proprio cambio di rotta: la dedizione che mettevo nel perfezionare un movimento è la stessa che oggi applico nello studio della chirurgia e delle nuove tecnologie mediche. Ho sempre amato profondamente insegnare perché credo che la conoscenza sia un dono che brilla solo se condiviso. C’è una poesia sottile nel momento in cui un concetto complesso diventa luce negli occhi di persona e sapere di aver contribuito per me è inappagabile… è un prendersi cura dell'altro che va oltre i libri. Ho trasportato la mia passione per l'insegnamento nel mondo universitario, perché ad oggi seguo dei colleghi dei corsi di Medicina e Infermieristica nella preparazione alle sessioni. Sono una persona abituata al lavoro di squadra, al sacrificio per il raggiungimento di obiettivi d'eccellenza e alla costante ricerca della perfezione operativa.

Hola, soy Sara y me apasiona enseñar ciencias de una manera clara, cercana y fácil de entender. Estudié química y tuve la oportunidad de ser monitora en la Universidad del Valle, donde descubrí cuánto disfruto acompañar a otros en su proceso de aprendizaje. En mis clases busco que la química, la física, las matemáticas y las ciencias naturales dejen de sentirse difíciles o lejanas. Me gusta relacionar los temas con situaciones de la vida real para que los estudiantes comprendan el “por qué” de las cosas y no solo memoricen fórmulas.
