Hello, I am Marco! I completed my bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Bologna (grade: 110L; thesis: superradiance effect in rotating black holes). I then obtained a master's degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of Trento in October 2015 (grade: 100L; thesis: anomalies in Quantum Field theory and string theory). In the same period, I also took a diploma in "advanced studies in theoretical physics" at SISSA (Trieste). I subsequently took a PhD in Theoretical Physics in December 2018 at the Niels Bohr Institute, the University of Copenhagen (I worked on string theory and related topics by publishing several articles in the most important journals in the sector). I am attending a second PhD in Philosophy of Physics at the University of Urbino. I also teach at the University of Urbino and Bologna during my second PhD. I am the author of several articles in the most important Italian and international journals. I am also the author of a book on the paradoxes of black holes, available (by now) only in Italian from 23 September 2022 in all the best bookstores. In addition, since 2018, I have been tutoring many students across Europe for various Bachelor's or Master's degree programs, and I have supervised several Bachelor's and Master's degree theses. About the lessons, I usually proceed as follows: (i) an informal (free) chat to understand the needs of the student and the way they usually learn Then two possibilities: (iia) Individual frontal lessons on the material and exchange with the student (if they prefer a more inductive method) (iib) Exchange on specific problems that the student has encountered during the study of the subject plus exercises done together (in preparation for a possible written exam). I usually send written notes taken during lessons. I am also available to solve problems, send solutions, or prepare lecture notes for specific issues. The typical length of a lesson is one 1h or 1h 30min (my advice is to do not more than one hour and 30 minutes since attention decreases) I teach at the University of Urbino and Bologna and tutor many students for their bachelor's or master's thesis. Moreover, I have also tutored many online students in the past three years who have all passed their exams.

Soy Doctora en Física por la Universidad de Milano-Bicocca (Milán, Italia). Durante toda mi carrera de grado he dictado clases particulares de apoyo a estudiantes primarios, de ESO y universitarios. Cuento además con experiencia docente en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires, Argentina), donde he dictado materias de diversas carreras de la facultad de Ciencias e Ingeniería. Me encuentro dictando clases particulares de física y matemática para estudiantes universitarios. La tecnica varía según el alumnx, su nivel y sus necesidades. Por esta razón, antes de comenzar las clases ofrezco una reunión introductoria (gratuita) donde se discute con el y se diseña el plan a seguir para las clases siguientes. Mi principal objetivo es ayudarle a que aprenda a pensar y razonar los problemas por si mismx. En líneas generales se pordría definir el siguiente esquema a seguir: - Primero conocer al alumnx, el plan de estudios de la materia, y cuáles son aquellos temas en los que encuentra mayor dificultad. - Diseñar una serie de ejercicios prácticos que serán enviados al alumnx antes de la próxima clase para que pueda leerlos e intentar resolverlos solx (si lo desea) antes de la misma. - Durante la clase resuelvo DETALLADAMENTE cada ejercicio, brindando también todas las explicaciones teóricas que sean necesarias para su comprensión. De todas formas, no existe una metodología fija, sino que ésta se va adaptando según el progreso de cada estudiante y según los objetivos que el mismx desee alcanzar.

Hi! I am Andrea Costantini and I have given private lessons for the last 10 years. In this period, I helped kids in High School and at the Universiy teaching them mostly math and physics. I had the pleasure to assist over 50 students, the greater part for a journey that lasted some months, and most of them overcame their expectations. I had the possibility to help some neurodivergent students and therefore I acquired the necessary skills to assist them I their personal needs. In these years, I developed a teaching method that has given me many satisfactions. It can be summarized in 4 phases: - Create a relationship of trust, - Correct the study method, - Work on specific deficiencies, - Make students independent. If there are students with shorts deadline, I will focus on deficiencies and study method. I ask to my students to be dedicated and precise with deadlines. From me, I will try to make the lessons fun and entertaining. With ten years of experience and over than 50 students, I am sure there will be great improvements and long lasting results!

Ciao! Sono Marco Mangili, appena laureato triennale in ingegneria informatica all'università di Bergamo. Da anni do ripetizioni e lezioni private a studenti di medie e superiori: nelle mie lezioni mi concentro sugli esercizi e sulla parte pratica, mentre copro la teoria solo se gli studenti hanno chiare difficoltà o se me lo chiedono esplicitamente. Penso che imparare matematica e fisica sia molto più semplice attraverso esercizi pratici, quindi seguo questo metodo che finora ha sempre funzionato. Sono disponibile ad organizzare le lezioni in base alle esigenze di ogni studente, spero di poterti aiutare a raggiungere i tuoi obiettivi!

Me presento como un profesor moderno e interesado en ayudarte a aprender y mejorar tus notas escolares. Mis objetivos son muy claros: hacer clases de refuerzo cortas y entretenidas. Mis horarios son flexibles y me puedo adaptar a las necesidades del alumno con facilidad. Tengo experiencia con estudiantes de secundaria y bachillerato de mi antiguo instituto ya que fui voluntario en refuerzo de tareas relacionadas con la ciencia (química, física, matemáticas...) Después de terminar mi segundo año universitario en los Estados Unidos, busco encontrar mi vocación como maestro en la enseñanza. Un camino que me genera mucho interés e ilusión debido al impacto académico y emocional que han ocasionado algunos de mis antiguos profesores. En cuanto a la dinámica de las clases, quiero trabajar con muchos ejemplos y ejercicios para que los alumnos tengan claro el temario del cual dudan. Mis objetivos no son impartir clases, sino responder y aclarar dudas. También estoy dispuesto a repasar para próximos exámenes exponiendo ejercicios de práctica para que los estudiantes hagan las pruebas con seguridad y confianza.

Hola, soy Mario Molina, graduado en Física y cuento con un Máster en Física Teórica. Llevo dando clases particulares desde que acabé dicho máster tanto a nivel de bachillerato como universitario. Intento organizar las clases revisando la teoría de una manera que sea comprensible para el alumno de modo que luego pueda entenderse a la hora de aplicarla a los ejercicios prácticos. La prioridad es entender los conceptos que se ven minimizando la memorización y mecanización de ejercicios, ya que lo más importante es entenderlos pues así uno puede ser capaz de enfrentarse a otros tipos de problemas diferentes.

To master any subject, a clear concept of the topic is paramount. My lesson style ensures the student has a clear understanding of what is being asked and that they can grow to be confident in solving problems. The structure of each lesson is as follows: Each lesson we start off with a small exercise based off the previous lesson to ensure that the student is confident with that topic. In the main section of the lesson we will go through the new topic content. The style of lessons will vary between students, but in all lessons I encourage conversation related to the topic to broaden understanding. I have found that this is one of the best ways to engage students and see them progress in their confidence. After this, to compound the topic knowledge and information, questions are given to the student to solve, this may be accompanied by extra questions from myself to encourage a problem solving and critical thinking mindset. This helps develop a greater understanding and identifies areas where further assistance is required. Applying maths and physics to real world scenarios is another area I like to encourage. My goal for you as the student is to obtain a solid understanding of the subject that will allow you to retain the information learnt and take your exams with confidence. As I come up to four years of tutoring, I find it extremely rewarding to see students grow, overcome challenges and have fun during their studies. During this time I have learnt different teaching techniques and how to tailor each lesson for each student so you can get the best support you need.
