Hi learners! This is Subha. I am doing my M.Tech from IIT Delhi. I have been an expert in Advanced Physics at Chegg for the last year. 4 years of experience in tutoring physics to international students.
I did my post-graduation in physics from Presidency University, specializing in Astrophysics and Cosmology, Electronics. I did my project work in artificial intelligence.
I am very particular with teaching the theories as they are very important to understand the core. After the theory, I, generally, make them solve the numerical problems which are important for exam and as well as to conceptualize the theory in a better way.
I am very particular about solving PYQs and organizing class tests after completing each topic as practice makes everyone perfect. So if you are someone who wants to study physics dedicatedly then join my classes. Trust me Physics is so simple and you can score excellently in this subject, you just need a mentor.
My name is Vipin. I graduated with a MASt in Applied Mathematics at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. Before MASt, I completed my undergraduate studies in Physics at St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. I am very interested in tutoring maths and physics students (including general sciences)
I am passionate about teaching and want to take it up as a career option. I believe no subject, however daunting, is too difficult for a student. I find it interesting as well as challenging to engage a student’s interest in a particular topic through examples or a different way of looking at the topic that can ease the complexity of the subject. I know, as a tutor, I would be playing a key role in tailoring them with the energy and confidence to achieve their goals.
My work experience as a physics content creator for an EdTech website has also added to my teaching abilities. Over the past year, I have also gained tutoring experience for GCSE and A-levels based in the UK which has helped me grow as a tutor.
I would like to tutor in Mathematics and Physics with levels ranging from pre-high school to undergraduate subjects.
Apart from tutoring, I enjoy poetry, sustainable DIY and long walks.

Throughout Ali's academic pursuits, the thirst for knowledge has been a constant driving force. From mastering algebraic equations to delving into complex calculus problems, from understanding the laws of classical mechanics to exploring the mysteries of quantum physics, each step has only fueled Ali's curiosity and desire to know more. While pursuing an engineering degree, Ali discovered a deep calling to share this passion and knowledge with others by becoming a math and physics tutor.
As a tutor, Ali is patient, empathetic, and an excellent communicator. Ali has a natural talent for breaking down abstract concepts into digestible pieces, making math and physics accessible to all. Real-world examples and practical applications are Ali's go-to tools, enabling students to relate these subjects to their daily lives. Whether explaining the intricacies of planetary motion or the properties of waves, Ali's enthusiasm is infectious, inspiring even the most hesitant learners.
Beyond academic support, Ali's ultimate goal as a tutor is to instill a growth mindset in students. Ali firmly believes that anyone can excel in math and physics with determination, practice, and the right guidance. Sharing personal stories of overcoming challenges in the realm of mathematics and physics, Ali encourages students to embrace the learning process and conquer any obstacles they may encounter.
Outside of tutoring sessions, Ali can often be found engrossed in mathematical puzzles, conducting physics experiments, or seeking innovative solutions to engineering problems. A true believer in lifelong learning, Ali actively seeks opportunities to expand horizons, attending seminars, and exploring cutting-edge research to stay at the forefront of knowledge.
With a unique blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds, Ali aspires to empower future generations of mathematicians and physicists. Guiding students on their academic journey, Ali aims to cultivate a new generation of critical thinkers and problem solvers, leaving a lasting impact on the world, one student at a time.

Hi, I'm Valentin, a second-year engineering student at CentraleSupélec that I joined after completing preparatory classes in mathematics.
I adapt to the student based on their level, ambitions, and deadlines in order to organize my sessions (more exercises, course reminders, or exam preparation, for example).
The methodology I use, based on simplifying concepts and using analogies, is nothing revolutionary but has proven effective with my previous students.

Hi! My name is Will, I'm a uni student at Exeter. And hopefully your new Maths tutor. My strengths lie in most areas of Maths (except maybe statistics aha).
Before each of our lessons, I would request that you give me all of the issues you have encountered over whatever topics you are studying. I believe the most efficient way to learn a concept is to break it down into the most simple core concept and then rebuild the concept as a whole piece by piece building on that understanding. Therefore in our lessons, I intend to begin by looking at what concepts are the difficult ones, figuring out specifically where each of the issues lie, and then focusing and working on that problem until the base understanding is fully formed. And finally, when we are both happy that the understanding is cemented properly we will move on to practical learning - using what we've worked on to apply to a range of practice problems. Practicing application problems will help you get to grips with the process of using your knowledge and techniques to answer similar questions in mock and final exams. I believe practice is probably the best solution to consolidating both recall and application in education.
No question is a silly question, and there will be absolutely zero judgment for any confusion. The root of learning comes from being open and happy to put a spotlight on and learn from your mistakes (I have made a very large number during my time as a student).

Hello, I am Marco!
I completed my bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Bologna (grade: 110L; thesis: superradiance effect in rotating black holes).
I then obtained a master's degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of Trento in October 2015 (grade: 100L; thesis: anomalies in Quantum Field theory and string theory).
In the same period, I also took a diploma in "advanced studies in theoretical physics" at SISSA (Trieste).
I subsequently took a PhD in Theoretical Physics in December 2018 at the Niels Bohr Institute, the University of Copenhagen (I worked on string theory and related topics by publishing several articles in the most important journals in the sector).
I am attending a second PhD in Philosophy of Physics at the University of Urbino. I also teach at the University of Urbino and Bologna during my second PhD. I am the author of several articles in the most important Italian and international journals. I am also the author of a book on the paradoxes of black holes, available (by now) only in Italian from 23 September 2022 in all the best bookstores. In addition, since 2018, I have been tutoring many students across Europe for various Bachelor's or Master's degree programs, and I have supervised several Bachelor's and Master's degree theses.
About the lessons, I usually proceed as follows:
(i) an informal (free) chat to understand the needs of the student and the way they usually learn
Then two possibilities:
(iia) Individual frontal lessons on the material and exchange with the student (if they prefer a more inductive method)
(iib) Exchange on specific problems that the student has encountered during the study of the subject plus exercises done together (in preparation for a possible written exam).
I usually send written notes taken during lessons.
I am also available to solve problems, send solutions, or prepare lecture notes for specific issues.
The typical length of a lesson is one 1h or 1h 30min (my advice is to do not more than one hour and 30 minutes since attention decreases)
I teach at the University of Urbino and Bologna and tutor many students for their bachelor's or master's thesis. Moreover, I have also tutored many online students in the past three years who have all passed their exams.
