Hi, my name is Polina Pohozha. I’m a pianist, composer, and teacher based in Gothenburg. Music has always been a natural part of my life — a way to express feelings, to connect, to explore. I can hardly imagine myself without it, and it’s this sense of discovery and connection that I hope to share with every student I meet. I studied piano performance and teaching at the Odesa National Music Academy, where I received my Master’s degree, and later continued my education in composition at the Composer School on Gotland. Over the years, I’ve performed across Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Sweden, Norway, Italy — from classical stages to festivals of experimental and improvised music. Along the way, I’ve worked with orchestras, played solo recitals, collaborated with classical ensembles rock bands, pop, experimenrtal, and recorded albums and EPs of free improvisation and doom-metal. My teaching experience is 10 years. I worked in different musical schools as a piano teacher and then started doing freelance teaching. When I was a child, teaching fascinated me to the bones. I got to grow up with incredible teachers who are still a big inspiration for me. They were an example that teaching is a style of life,  a way to connect, explore, and express. It is a dialogue where both student and teacher grow together, connect, and make very special relationships. I’ve taught in both Ukrainian and Swedish schools, and these two different traditions have shaped my approach. From the Ukrainian side, I carry with me a strong classical foundation; from Sweden, I learned how valuable it is to adapt to the student, to encourage curiosity and self-expression. My lessons are always built around the person sitting at the piano. Some students want to focus on classical repertoire, some on improvisation, some on creating their own music — and often these things blend together naturally. While I take inspiration from the Suzuki philosophy, I place even more emphasis on individual growth, finding what feels authentic and meaningful to each student. Improvisation has a special place in my teaching, because it opens up a direct path to creativity and musical freedom.  I want to create an environment for you that is not only inspiring, where you exchange thoughts and create something new together, but also fun to be in—cozy and comfortable. Where to go without it?

My name is Ellen Priessman and I am a piano, saxophone, clarinet, recorder and theory teacher. I hold ABRSM grades in each instrument and the theory. I love the experience of making music and the joy it brings to people. I have taught pupils of varying ages; from children as young as 4 to older people in their 70s. No two pupils are the same which is part of the love of teaching for me. I get a lot of satisfaction if I can help pupils to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve; whether it is a small ambition such as playing Happy Birthday in a primary school assembly or a larger one like passing their music exams. I studied for my music degree at the University of Winchester (or King Alfred's College as it was then called). I have taught privately since 1997 and have had many exam successes with my pupils. The lessons progress at the pace of each individual pupil; I can adapt lessons to suit each pupil. Everyone is different and some will learn faster than others. I introduce sight-reading early on as this is a skill which will be useful in many ways. Aural skills are also a part of lessons as listening is an essential part of learning and playing music and in other areas of life as well. I always encourage pupils to ask as many questions as they need to; I would rather have a multitude of questions than a pupil who is struggling with something and is too worried to mention it. I will set you pieces or technical exercises to practice between lessons though I do understand that day to day life gets in the way of practice from time to time! If you would like to work towards any graded exams this is something I am experienced in and there are various examination boards available for us to use or if you just want to learn for fun that is fine as well! I am more than happy to teach pupils with special needs and have had several autistic pupils before. I have one pupil who is deaf and another who is blind which goes to show disability really doesn't stop you doing something if you put your mind to it. I use ABRSM or Trinity for exams but I am happy to use other boards if preferred as there are several options now for music exams. I am also happy to do one-off lessons if needed; it may be that you need just a double check or an extra practice for your sight-reading or aural skills for example. I am also the Musical Director for a local theatre company which is great fun! I have also played for school Nativity plays and helped with school orchestras as well.

I am a master teacher focusing on the classical repertoire along with the very strong approach to improvisation. I am really helping each single student to achieve their interests in music rather than focusing on teaching one particular method. I just take a very similar approach to the Suzuki method but instead of teaching out of the method books I teach mixture of exercises and pieces that I believe are more fun and accessible to today student of any age. Classes are tailored to the needs of any particular student and constantly evolving. I am a true believer that this also helps understanding and love of classical music. A huge range of students come as beginners and left as a young artists as well as adult students Who came to learn piano and have found that they can perform professionally. And plus have a great deal of Fun! I also guide my students in the curriculum and exams of the Royal Conservatory program. Exams are offered twice a year. Also my students participating in Junior festivals and community recitals. I have also been a judge for Lake Central Junior festival which held in University of central Florida for over 8 years and an assistant for RC exams. Creativity and love of music are the key elements that I encourage in every single student. With my teaching skills and over 20 years of experience I am taking each single student beyond their own expectation while helping them to achieve their own goals. Bio: I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer. Because of my through knowledge and experience with music I can teach all ages and levels an array of important subjects including piano, music theory, , improvisation, composition, music history. My goal with every single student to incorporate all those subjects into my piano lessons so that every student gains a through understanding of music and become a well- rounded musician.

Hello! I’m Michelle Alodia, a classical pianist currently studying a Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium. I started teaching already in junior high school by assisting my piano teacher with younger students, and since then I have guided both beginners and more advanced learners. Growing up in Asia, I was immersed in music from a young age through masterclasses, technique training, solfege, theory, and competitions — experiences that shaped me into both a performer and a teacher. I believe piano lessons should be inspiring and adapted to each student’s goals. Whether you want to play for fun, as stress relief, or to develop serious classical skills, I will guide you with patience and creativity. My lessons focus not only on technique and musicality, but also on problem-solving: I give practical solutions, tips, and tricks to help you overcome difficulties and enjoy steady progress.

Claudio Palana was born on June 8th 1996. He started to play the piano at 4, following his father's passion for music. Since He was 8, he started to study all by himself theory, solfeggio and different instruments, such as guitar, bass, and mandolin. 💫As a rising star in the Sicilian jazz panorama, his playing combines Sicilian roots, classical European lyricism, and new contemporary jazz sounds. 📖In 2014, the Conservatory A. Corelli admitted Claudio ahead of time because of his early talent. In this conservatory, He will obtain a bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano (2018), a master's degree in Jazz Composition with 110/110 (2019), and a master's degree in Jazz Piano with summa cum laude and honours (2022) presenting musical research based on Aaron Parks, one of his idols. 🎹He gathered valuable experiences, from playing in the Corelli Big Band in 2014 to playing in some relevant jazz festivals and exhibitions, such as Sicilia Jazz Festival, Lune Di Jazz, Totù Jazz Festival, Puntalazzo Jazz Fest, Riflessuoni, and Filarmonica Laudamo. 🏫He has an incredible experience in teaching, starting with younger students (4 to 14 years old) to the oldest ones (+65) at any level: From fundamentals to very advanced techniques. In his curriculum, in fact, he taught in workshops for high school professors, and in three different academies.
