Montserrat Torrent, D. José María Orti Soriano y D. Juan Carlos Alandete Castillo. He sido director de varios coros de la C.A.M. como la Coral “Ars Musicae” de Pozuelo de Alarcón, Escolanía del Real Colegio de Escuelas Pías de San Fernando, Coro de Cámara “A Capella” del Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús (Madrid), grabando con dicha agrupación un CD colaborando con el grupo de Rock “MAGO DE OZ”, en sus álbumes “Volumen Brutal” y “Larga Vida al..”. y en 1999 ganando el 2º Premio del certamen nacional de Griñón. En 1995 también ingreso por oposición en la Orquesta Sinfónica de Estudiantes de la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid dirigida por los maestros, Vicente Sempere, G. Mancini, Pedro Halftter José Luis Temes ,… , de la que se puede destacar sus actuaciones en el “Tivoli Center Hall” de Copenhague, Aula’97 (Teatro de Elche), en el auditorio de Murcia durante el “XVI Festival Internacional de Orquestas Jóvenes”, Aula’98 (Auditorio Nacional), y en el Festival de Órgano de 1998 de la Catedral de León; así como las realizadas habitualmente en el Teatro Monumental de Madrid, y en el Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid. En 1998 ha participado en la XLIV Edición del Festival de Teatro Clásico de Mérida y en los Veranos de la Villa de Madrid 1998 , interpretando en las dos ocasiones en colaboración con la Capilla Real de Madrid, dirigida por Oscar Gershensohn, el Orfeo y Euridice de C.W. Gluck, en versión original (1762). En este mismo año también ha participado XVI Festival Internacional de Música Ciudad de Ayamonte formando parte de la Orquesta Barroca del Festival Internacional de Ayamonte. Como solista he realizado recitales de trompeta y órgano por diversas Iglesias de la geografía española entre las que cabe destacar, la Iglesia de San Jerónimo el Real de Madrid y Basílica del Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, acompañado al órgano por P. Jafet R. Ortega. Habitualmente colaboro con el grupo “Globomedia” y Emilio Aragón. Durante estos últimos años he realizado conciertos en la Fundación Juan March, Gran Casino de Madrid, Auditorio 400 del Centro de Arte Reina Sofía,Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Son Servera (Mallorca), Hotel intercontinental de Madrid y Auditorio Nacional de Madrid. Actualmente soy fundador y director del “Grupo Laudes” de Madrid, Organista titular de San Jerónimo el Real de Madrid, miembro del grupo de metales 4BRASS. Tengo experiencia de muchos años dando clases de Piano, Trompeta, Lenguaje Musical, Armonía, e incluso informática musical a través del software Fínale tanto es Escuelas Municipales de Música como en Conservatorio Profesional, obteniendo gracias a esta extensa experiencia, una multitud de recursos didácticos y pedagógicos para impartir las clases adaptando a cada alumno la misma, y también poder facilitar el material de referencia correspondiente a través de Pdfs, mp3, mp4.

My name is Ellen Priessman and I am a piano, saxophone, clarinet, recorder and theory teacher. I hold ABRSM grades in each instrument and the theory. I love the experience of making music and the joy it brings to people. I have taught pupils of varying ages; from children as young as 4 to older people in their 70s. No two pupils are the same which is part of the love of teaching for me. I get a lot of satisfaction if I can help pupils to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve; whether it is a small ambition such as playing Happy Birthday in a primary school assembly or a larger one like passing their music exams. I studied for my music degree at the University of Winchester (or King Alfred's College as it was then called). I have taught privately since 1997 and have had many exam successes with my pupils. The lessons progress at the pace of each individual pupil; I can adapt lessons to suit each pupil. Everyone is different and some will learn faster than others. I introduce sight-reading early on as this is a skill which will be useful in many ways. Aural skills are also a part of lessons as listening is an essential part of learning and playing music and in other areas of life as well. I always encourage pupils to ask as many questions as they need to; I would rather have a multitude of questions than a pupil who is struggling with something and is too worried to mention it. I will set you pieces or technical exercises to practice between lessons though I do understand that day to day life gets in the way of practice from time to time! If you would like to work towards any graded exams this is something I am experienced in and there are various examination boards available for us to use or if you just want to learn for fun that is fine as well! I am more than happy to teach pupils with special needs and have had several autistic pupils before. I have one pupil who is deaf and another who is blind which goes to show disability really doesn't stop you doing something if you put your mind to it. I use ABRSM or Trinity for exams but I am happy to use other boards if preferred as there are several options now for music exams. I am also happy to do one-off lessons if needed; it may be that you need just a double check or an extra practice for your sight-reading or aural skills for example. I am also the Musical Director for a local theatre company which is great fun! I have also played for school Nativity plays and helped with school orchestras as well.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post. My name is Elias, and I am an award-winning pianist and composer with a Doctorate degree in composition from the University of Toronto, and four commercially recorded albums of my own compositions. In recent years, I focused on composing for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, choirs, and orchestras. I have been playing piano since the age of five, and I cannot imagine my life without music. I would certainly love to share that knowledge with you. I believe in adapting to each student's pace and preferences, but here are a few things that I share with all my piano students: - Technique training through physical warm up exercises - Proper physical movement on the piano - Importance of having a sound theoretical knowledge - Approaching challenging pieces by dividing it into small fragments and mastering it one fragment at a time. - Developing consistent and efficient practice routines Most importantly, I find it very important to encourage each student to reach their maximum potential and will guide them through it every step of the way. I work with students online and have had tremendous success doing it. Please know that it is never too late to start music lessons!
