Hi there! I’m Onyinye, a dedicated Professional Biology Tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching Biology. I have a passion for making the complex world of science clear, accessible, and most importantly, exciting. I have spent years helping students navigate the challenges of Biology, from middle school to advanced college-level preparation. I pride myself on being more than just a teacher, I am a mentor who helps students build the confidence they need to ace their exams. Teaching is my greatest passion because I love that 'aha!' moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for a student. Whether we are breaking down the intricacies of Photosynthesis, diving into Nucleic Acids, or mastering AP and IB Biology curriculum, my goal is to provide high-quality, structured lessons that get results. When I’m not in the classroom, I’m a huge fan of creative design, I even enjoy sketching and developing simple, expressive characters to help visualize biological processes. I am a Certified Biology Tutor with a strong background in life sciences and a proven track record of helping students excel online. I specialize in bridging the gap between confusion and clarity for students following US (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and Canadian curriculums. My experience includes: AP Biology: guiding 10th and 11th graders through the College Board curriculum, specifically focusing on high-difficulty units like Metabolism (Cellular Respiration & Photosynthesis) and Genetics. IB Biology (SL/HL): Helping students master internal assessments and core topics like Nucleic Acids and Physiology. Foundational Science: I also work with younger learners (including homeschoolers), simplifying complex ideas into fun, digestible lessons using relatable examples like explaining the Rhesus factor or plant biology to middle schoolers.
