Merhaba!! I'm Nagehan. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching Turkish through online and face-to-face lessons. I live abroad and am also learning a foreign language, so I understand the challenges that can make learning difficult and sometimes discouraging. I am experienced in overcoming the difficulties encountered while learning a language. I tailor my lessons to your needs. I always share the documents and notes I provide during the lessons with you after the class. I strive to keep you prepared until the next lesson with optional assignments and videos. I dedicate the last 10 minutes of each lesson to reviewing the material and answering any lingering questions. In conversation classes, I choose topics based on your proficiency level and interests.I correct mistakes made during the conversation. I explain my reasons for corrections and make it easier for you to learn the correct pattern by writing new example sentences. It makes me really happy to chat with my students and share about Turkish culture, food, movies, travel, music, and many other topics. Apart from my passion for teaching and learning languages, I love traveling, playing guitar, watching movies and series, and meeting new people and cultures. Hi! I'm Mehmet from Turkey. I can teach you Turkish and/or English. I'm a native Turkish speaker with a good accent and a qualified&experienced English teacher. I can also understand a little bit of Spanish and Portuguese. I have got my BA, MA and PhD in the field of language teaching. I like learning about new cultures and talking about social issues. Teaching a language is my job and passion at the same time. I have taught to students from all age and proficiency levels with various motivations for more than 10 years. I am getting more and more experienced everyday but not old-fashioned. Thanks to my academic studies I can always update myself both in theory and practice. At the very beginning of my lessons, I typically try to analyze the needs, expectations, and language learning history of the students. Then, I design the best course (curriculum, methodology, materials ...etc) for the individual student. I try hard to make my students active-learners. I believe it makes a big difference. I'm a 31-year-old TEFL-certified English language Teacher, TOMER-certified Turkish language teacher, and a native Turkish speaker.
