Hello! I am a private tutor who pays special attention to every aspect of my student's learning, and I believe in the harmony of encouragement, empathy, responsibility and accountability in the classroom. My teaching style is friendly, engaging yet methodological, so it's easy for everyone to follow along, and I'm always making adjustments along the way to better suit my student's needs. Before diving into teaching, I take a look at where students currently are at in the subject, understand their goals, and then make a plan to help them get there. While the content of my classes is curated based on the student's goals and timeline, my tutoring will always match the student's learning pace. Strong foundations is the bedrock of my tutoring, and I will help my students work towards or solidify a good foundation in their chosen subject. This means having a firm understanding in the basics that form the foundation of developing principles and ideas in the subject. As a tutor with experience teaching children and adults with different personalities and communication methods, I have great interpersonal skills and I am confident that I can effectively help students understand their chosen subject at a deeper level. While I lead my students in their studies, I also encourage my students to have confidence in their knowledge. Providing a positive environment in the classroom is key to creating a comfortable space to learn and grow, but don't worry about getting too comfortable -- I always make sure to push my students just enough to keep them on their toes!
