HELLO My name is Silvia Favaretto, I'm eighteen years old and I'm in my fifth year at the Riccati-Luzzatti High School for Economics and Social Sciences in Treviso. Even though I'm still a student, I'm quite experienced in giving lessons. I participated in the Help Junior school project, which involves first-year students supporting the studies of the school's younger students. I'm also a member of the school's debate team and have obtained a B2 Cambridge English certification. Finally, I was among the twenty finalists in the EconoMia competition organized by the Turin International Economics Festival. These experiences have allowed me to acquire a wide and varied knowledge and skillset that I now want to leverage as I enter the world of work. With several years of study under my belt, I've come to believe that intelligent learning requires certain conditions. First, the explanation should be clear and as personalized as possible to the student. The use of maps/diagrams and digital tools is also a valuable aid. Finally, it's my personal opinion that content review is more effective when done through questions or quizzes, to avoid passive memorization. I believe understanding should be accompanied by reflection and internalization that doesn't render what needs to be learned useless. I would like to base my lessons on these points. I am a helpful, responsible, and enthusiastic person, and I try to put the utmost dedication into all my activities, as I hope my resume demonstrates.
