Academically I'm an engineer but I've always been into music, playing guitar and songwriting. So from an early age I've started playing guitar because initially I've aways found this particular instrument so cool. After some years of struggle , I decided to be a guitarist. Since then I've been playing guitar and professionally I'm playing for over 10 years. Currently I've been working with 3 different bands and I've a quite numbers of released songs. Hello! My name is Egor, and I am a pianist, composer and music producer. My main activities are teaching piano, composing music and performing at various concerts. Also, I produce music (from the original idea: lyrics, harmonies, etc. to sound-design and distribution). I have bachelor’s and master’s degrees by the program of performing on the piano in the music theatres as an academic pianist and an artist. I am a winner of regional and international music competitions. In my classes I teach not only beginners but intermediate and advanced piano players. Even though you are not looking for a professional piano career, learning music is the great possibility to improve your various kinds of skills. You will become more confident in communicating with people, you will be able to meet new people who’s also obsessed with music and art, and furthermore you will be able to create your own pieces and songs. In teaching I combine classical and modern approaches in order to accomplish our mutual goals with a student. It includes the dialectical method of teaching by the very honourable piano teacher and pianist Heinrich Neuhaus. Also, in my lessons I connect teaching piano with psychology so that we are able to achieve the best result. My fortune was to discover the piano because I was the type of a person who always thought that the music world is closed for regular people. And that was the point that I hadn’t taken piano lessons when I used to be a child before I started it only in my 20's. Now, I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer who has won regional and international musical contests. These days I teach many students all over the world from Los Angeles to Warsaw. Also, I released a couple of piano and electronic albums. I have a systemised course of studying music that includes following themes: 1. Elementary Theory of Music; 2. Classic and jazz harmony; 3. Creating an accompaniment for your favourite songs; 4. Embodiment of an artistic image; 5. Basic performing skills. I can help to make your dream of playing piano come true. In 2021, I completed my degree in jazz singing with honours at the Verdi Conservatory in Milan. I have been teaching singing since 2018, first in Milan in person, then online with singing lessons in English for a music school based in California. Now I teach at three private schools in Rome and have students whom I teach privately, visiting them at their homes. The lessons are structured as follows: the first part consists of warm-ups, breathing and vocal technique exercises. Then we move on to the repertoire with the performance of songs chosen by the students and myself. We will work on the repertoire, the pronunciation of foreign lyrics, posture, the approach to live performance and, for students who are willing, once a month I suggest participating in jam sessions or open mics in venues in Rome. The genre can be jazz, pop, soul, hip hop, rock, and so on. I am also available to help students prepare for conservatory admission, auditions, and various other types of admissions. I teach students of all ages and levels, even those with no experience. I am willing to travel to your home, teach at my home, or even online. It is also possible to take lessons in music theory and piano for beginners. It is also possible to learn how to make home recordings, with instruction in software such as Ableton and Logic. I have been working as a professional singer for 8 years, I released my first album “In the Night” in 2021 and in 2018 I was chosen by Ornella Vanoni as the best singer during one of her masterclasses at the Verdi Conservatory in Milan. I have a busy concert schedule and have also performed abroad.
