Hi, I’m Saumya Shukla, a Creative Director and 3D Generalist specializing in Environment Art with over 8 years of experience across games, cinematics, commercials, music videos, films, and real-time production workflows. I’ve worked on projects for Riot Games (Valorant & League of Legends), Esports World Cup 2024 & 2025, Mobile Legends MSC 2024, Netflix, Hyundai, Keventers, and more. My work focuses on environment creation, cinematic storytelling, lighting, atmosphere, and world-building using Blender and Unreal Engine, along with tools like Houdini, Gaea, EmberGen, and Substance Painter. Alongside production work, I’ve led teams, managed creative workflows, reviewed quality, and collaborated across departments in large-scale productions. Teaching and mentorship are a key part of my journey. I’ve taught students at Amity University and mentored artists through private learning communities, helping them understand not just tools, but real production workflows, industry expectations, and career development. My approach focuses on practical learning, portfolio building, personal branding, and guiding artists toward the right creative career path. I believe strong artists are built not just through software skills, but through discipline, communication, adaptability, and understanding how the industry truly works. Outside of work, I’m passionate about sci-fi, horror, gaming, cinematics, storytelling, and atmospheric world-building, which heavily influence my creative direction and teaching philosophy.
