For young learners, we can practise useful everyday topics such as greetings, introductions, family, colours, animals, food, toys, school, hobbies, feelings, and daily routines. I also encourage students to practise simple conversation patterns such as “What’s your name?”, “How are you?”, “What do you like?”, “What colour is it?”, and “What do you see?” Repeating these conversations in different activities helps students become more comfortable using English naturally. I also focus on developing important skills such as vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, and sentence formation. Rather than simply giving students the answers, I guide them with questions, examples, gestures, repetition, and encouragement so they can gradually become more independent speakers. My goal is not only to help students learn English but also to help them enjoy the learning process. I want my students to finish each lesson feeling proud of what they have accomplished and excited to learn something new in the next class.
