I've always been a fan of STEM subjects like Maths and Computer Science, that's why I studied them for A-Level.
I know all too well how hard it can be to get your head around certain concepts, which is why I volunteered as Maths tutor at my Sixth Form for the GSCE students before their exams. My experience as a maths tutor and Computer Science degree student means I am equipped with the perfect experience to help students on their road to top grades.
I understand that every student is different and likes learning in different ways so will always keep this in mind when teaching, asking for feedback and ways to improve my lessons.

Je m'appelle Emilie, j'ai 21 ans, je suis titulaire d'un BAC S et d'un BTS de Comptabilité Gestion.
Lors de mes cours je reprend en général le cours étudié en classe et l'explique s'il n'est pas compris, je le fais ensuite mettre en pratique grâce à des exercices. Lors des vacances scolaire s'il y a interruption des cours, je propose des dossiers de révisions avec des exercices sur tout ce qui a été vu depuis le début de l'année (si les parents et l'élève le veulent).
Dans le cas où la leçon n'est pas tout à fait comprise dès le premier cours je prend du temps pour revenir dessus le cours suivant même si l'élève à changer de leçon. Et les contrôles n'ayant pas été réussis sont refais et expliqué.

Me llamo Nelson Baitx, estudié matemática para la licenciatura de matematica en la Universidad estatal de mi país Uruguay (udelar) y también hice cursos de profesorado, y edcucación a distancia. LLevo más de 25 años enseñando matemática en diferentes institutos y niveles, desde primaria a universitario. Actualmente continúo enseñando de manera presencial. He estudiado y continúo estudiando sobre tecnologías de la información, en e-learning, programación y ciencia de datos, conocimiento que me fue muy útil para dictar clases online durante la pandemia de covid-19, y en la actualidad. Desde el punto de vista pedagódico utilizo los más recientes concomientos en el campo de la neurociencia y la psicopedagogía, para obtener, y según dicen mis alumnos, la manera más apta para que cada alumno en particular aprenda. Según mis alumnos , tengo a favor que se sienten muy cercanos y confiados, pueden errar sin problema. En contra, que no les hago los ejercicios, los deben hacer ellos. I'm an in-person and online tutor in mathematics at ALL levels, based in Paris, France. I received my PhD(doctorate) in in mathematics in the US (Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ), and held my postdoctoral positions in reputed institutions in France (Ecole Polytechnique, INRIA) and USA (University of California, Los Angeles).
After my postdoctoral research positions, I've also worked as a data scientist in several companies in Paris, France. I love to share my passion for mathematics, statistics and machine learning with my students, by means of tutoring, seminars, talks etc. Besides mathematics, I'm also keen about about cooking, and happy to provide tips if needed.
