Difference between a professor and a “Good” tutor : -
So what is the factor which separates a “TUTOR” from your class professor?
Well, the answer is simple, it’s all about personalization. A professor can just read/teach the topic to the class and it's over. But for a good Tutor, it is just one of the many jobs he/she does. There are many things a tutor has to take care of: -
1. See the level of understanding of the subject by the student.
2. See the type of teaching the student prefers/loves.
3. See whether the student has an understanding of all other related subjects which are required for this particular course or not. If not, teach him about all the related stuff, which may be outside of the syllabus, but is extremely useful.
4. See if the student needs any advice on how to study, manage his/her time, what is the best method of study, the importance of the current subject, etc.
5. See if the student has other problems unrelated to academics, which is harming him/her, and guide the student.

Ciao! Sono Alessandro e sono uno studente del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Edile presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova. Ho sempre amato le materie scientifiche fin dai primi anni della mia formazione, per questo mi sono diplomato al Liceo Scientifico. Da otto anni offro ripetizioni a ragazzi e ragazze di scuole elementari, medie e superiori in Matematica e Fisica. Cerco di offrire ai ragazzi un aiuto completo che spazia dalla teoria alla pratica.
Presto molta attenzione alle esigenze e agli obbiettivi dello studente.
Sono convinto che svolgere lezioni periodiche a cadenza settimanale sia il modo migliore e più efficace di apprendere e superare certi ostacoli, soprattutto nelle materie scientifiche dove solo la memorizzazione non è sufficiente. Mi rendo disponibile anche a lezioni saltuarie, volte esclusivamente al superamento di una verifica o di un esame.
Il mio obbiettivo è rendere le materie scientifiche il meno pesanti possibili spiegando in modo semplice definizioni teoriche complesse. Cerco sempre di lavorare sulle singole lacune dei ragazzi rispiegando anche argomenti basilari.
Mi piace rafforzare i punti deboli tramite spiegazioni, esercizi graduali di miglioramento e, infine, cercando di stimolare negli studenti la curiosità e la passione per queste materie così affascinanti. Sono disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi dubbio con pazienza e attitudine positiva.
In linea generale le mie lezioni si strutturano in un primo ripasso di teoria per poi applicare quanto appreso negli esercizi. Adatterò poi la struttura della lezione in base alle necessità del singolo studente.
Il giorno e la durata della lezione verranno concordati con la massima flessibilità.
Le lezioni si svolgono nella modalità online e solitamente sono suddivise in una parte di dialogo su cosa succede a scuola, cosa hanno spiegato gli inseganti e quali sono i compiti assegnati e cosa si è compreso a riguardo. Mi piace leggere insieme agli alunni e spiegare o a volte mettere alla prova la comprensione dopo la lettura. Aiuto a svolgere i compiti e a prepararsi per interrogazioni e verifiche. Sono disponibile a modificare il metodo e le risorse fornite in base alle esigenze dei singoli studenti e ad integrare le spiegazioni con mappe concettuali, video, presentazioni o altro che possa essere utile. è importante la precisione e la puntualità e il rispetto.
