I am Aman , a Computer Science and Mathematics graduate, with tons of teaching and tutoring experience. I like to interact with my students like a friend and have fun with learning, rather than a professional teacher with thick glasses and a menacing look . My Motto: - “ENJOY + LEARN” As said, fun and learning are complementary , one cannot exist without the other. I informally take professional-level classes, so that my students do not shy out and miss even a single opportunity to learn something new. I believe if one cannot find the “WOW” factor in his/her teaching, how can he/she deliver an “AWESOME” lecture to others. Just Love what you do, others will love your work. Difference between a professor and a “Good” tutor : - So what is the factor which separates a “TUTOR” from your class professor? Well, the answer is simple, it’s all about personalization. A professor can just read/teach the topic to the class and it's over. But for a good Tutor, it is just one of the many jobs he/she does. There are many things a tutor has to take care of: - 1. See the level of understanding of the subject by the student. 2. See the type of teaching the student prefers/loves. 3. See whether the student has an understanding of all other related subjects which are required for this particular course or not. If not, teach him about all the related stuff, which may be outside of the syllabus, but is extremely useful. 4. See if the student needs any advice on how to study, manage his/her time, what is the best method of study, the importance of the current subject, etc. 5. See if the student has other problems unrelated to academics, which is harming him/her, and guide the student. So next time you see any tutor, compare his/her abilities on these parameters also.
