Je m’appelle Célia , j’ai 25 ans et je suis diplômée d’une licence de psychologie et d’un master en ressources humaines.
Actuellement je suis consultante en bilan de compétences pour adulte et coach en orientation scolaire pour adolescents/ jeunes adultes.
Depuis le début de mes études, j’ai toujours gardé un pied dans ce qui me passionne : l’accompagnement des jeunes. C’est pourquoi, depuis plusieurs années, j’aide des collégiens à préparer le Brevet et à reprendre confiance en eux à travers des cours adaptés à leur rythme et à leurs besoins.
Je propose des cours dans toutes les matières jusqu’au Brevet : mathématiques, français, histoire-géographie, sciences et méthodologie. Mon objectif n’est pas seulement de t’aider à réussir tes examens, mais aussi de t’apprendre à mieux t’organiser, à réviser efficacement et à retrouver le plaisir d’apprendre.
Grâce à mon parcours en psychologie, je suis particulièrement attentive à la motivation, la confiance en soi et la gestion du stress des élèves. J’adapte mes méthodes selon ton profil d’apprentissage : visuel, auditif, kinesthésique… chacun apprend à sa manière, et c’est justement ce que nous explorons ensemble.

À côté de l’enseignement, j’ai pratiqué le basket-ball pendant 15 ans, un sport qui m’a appris la persévérance, l’esprit d’équipe et la rigueur — des valeurs que je transmets aujourd’hui à mes élèves.

A veces me toca responder preguntas realmente profundas. Cuando no puedo hacerlo directamente, vuelvo a una idea más simple que ambos conozcamos. La desarmo en partes pequeñas y, al explorar juntos lo que entendemos, la respuesta suele aparecer sola.
Lo que más disfruto al enseñar es aprender sobre ti. Para explicar conceptos o métodos difíciles, me apoyo en cómo tú entiendes cosas que ya conoces. Eso hace que el tema nuevo se sienta más familiar.
Por eso, casi no memorizamos nada.

Tráeme un concepto que se te haga complicado y lo desmontamos juntos. Yo retrocedo hasta los fundamentos para ver dónde estás, y desde ahí construimos. Para hacerlo, te pediré que me expliques un concepto que ya domines: así veo cómo razonas, y luego uso ese mismo estilo de razonamiento para guiarte hacia ideas nuevas.

También ayudo a preparar exámenes y a entender cómo contestar para sacar los puntos importantes. A veces alguien sabe bien el contenido, pero aun así no consigue la nota que quiere porque las preguntas pueden ser un poco traicioneras.
Te enseño a leerlas de manera que sepas exactamente qué te piden y cómo responder como esperan.

Hi, my name is Chase. I might be younger than most other teachers but I've got a few years of maths tutoring under my belt. My favourite part of tutoring is when students come to me with questions already in hand. I believe that maths can be made easy if you know the basics well. As such, I like to refer back to the basics to teacher other topics. This also means that students can become comfortable with the subject.
If the student understands the basics well, I'll be able to teach some tips and tricks which will help speed up problem solving.
Laureato in Scienze Agrarie nel 1987 – Libero Professionista, da oltre 30 anni svolgo lezioni/ripetizioni di Matematica, Fisica, Chimica a studenti delle scuole secondarie di primo e secondo grado (scuola media, tutti gli Istituti Tecnici, Professionali e Licei).
Ciao. Nel corso della mia vita professionale ho sempre coltivato, a latere, la passione per l’insegnamento aiutando studenti di tutte le età a superare i loro timori e le loro lacune nelle materie scientifiche (matematica soprattutto ma anche fisica chimica e altre materie ad impronta scientifica).
L’approccio che ritengo migliore è quello di: mettere a fuoco l’obiettivo che si vuole raggiungere, contestualizzare l’argomento specifico nel quadro generale, affrontare “amichevolmente” la materia, fissare le competenze acquisite con alcuni esercizi mirati; lo studente avrà quindi modo, senza fretta, di far sue le nuove conoscenze e padroneggiare la materia affrontata.
Per ottenere i migliori risultati sono solito preparare ogni lezione prima di effettuarla, con materiali ed esercizi specifici: per questo motivo preferisco conoscere in anticipo (da 24 a 36 ore prima della lezione) l’argomento o la lista di argomenti che si vogliono affrontare. Per le lezioni online uso anche una tavoletta grafica in modo da dare allo studente una “impronta visiva”, oltre che formale, dell’argomento trattato, a volte coinvolgendo esempi della vita di tutti i giorni che facciano comprendere l’utilità di ciò che si sta studiando.
Tale approccio è servito, ad esempio, a portare un mio allievo affetto da DSA dalla seconda media al terzo superiore (in Matematica e Fisica) fin quando è divenuto completamente autonomo.
Naturalmente non tutti gli studenti hanno la stessa volontà di approfondimento, la stessa velocità di apprendimento e di risposta; ritengo che i molti anni di esperienza acquisita mi abbiano insegnato a calibrare le lezioni per incontrare appieno le esigenze di ogni studente e comunque, certamente, offro tutto il mio impegno perché ciò accada.

I am a PhD candidate in Statistics at the Université de Montréal (since 2024). After a science-track high school diploma, a BSc in Mathematics, and a Master’s in Statistics–Probability at Sorbonne University-Paris (2023), I have been tutoring since 2019 in mathematics and physics–chemistry for middle/high school, and mathematics/statistics at the undergraduate level. My research focuses on Bayesian causal inference and missing data—so I work daily with probability, linear algebra, optimization, and modeling. I live in mathematics and I enjoy making it clear, concrete, and doable.
My teaching style is simple and rigorous. We begin with a short diagnostic based on your notes, assignments, and recent tests: I identify fragile concepts, missing automatisms, and how you currently approach problems. Then we set 2–3 near-term, measurable goals. We revisit the key ideas without overload—usable definitions, contrasting examples, and a mini-proof only when it truly helps. Then comes guided practice and targeted exercises so that you explain the method yourself, reuse it independently, and gain confidence. The tone is calm, precise, patient.
Tools and materials. I use a digital whiteboard, Desmos/GeoGebra for geometry and calculus, compact method sheets, and banks of graded exercises. For statistics and probability I work in R or SPSS mainly, with step-by-step visualizations and commented solutions. I alternate classic textbook problems with small “real-life” tasks (measurement, rates, mixtures, experimental uncertainty). When a formula feels intimidating, we rebuild it from a simple example so you see what it means and why it works.
Topics covered (examples, not exhaustive).
• Middle/High school: arithmetic and algebra, equations/systems, functions, geometry and trigonometry, derivatives, sequences, probability, statistics, exam prep (Brevet/Bac or equivalent). Physics–chemistry: kinematics, electricity, optics, units and dimensional analysis, experimental method.
• University / prep / CÉGEP: calculus (derivatives, integrals, series), linear algebra, probability, estimation and testing, linear regression, introductory GLMs, hands-on statistics in R.
How lessons run. Online by preference (screen sharing + whiteboard), with the option of brief asynchronous check-ins between sessions (quick question, short correction). Each lesson ends with a one-page “takeaway” and 2–3 consolidation exercises. For longer projects (exam prep, a tough course), we structure a clear study plan and track progress.
My goal is not merely to “do exercises,” but to build habits: read the problem efficiently, sketch or structure the data, choose a method, check the result. Grades usually follow when the method becomes clear and anxiety drops. It’s practical and it lasts.
