Appassionato di informatica sin dall’adolescenza, studio come perito informatico per poi lavorare come programmatore. Dopo anni di lavoro decido di volere di più, mi dimetto e con i soldi risparmiati investo nella mia formazione da ingegnere informatico. Dal 2016 comincio a dare ripetizioni. Con gli anni scopro quanto questo lavoro possa dare tanto. Non basta conoscere la materia, bisogna avere empatia, essere in grado di mettersi nei panni dell’altro ed entrare nel suo mondo, rispettandone i modi e i tempi. Da settembre 2019 a giugno 2020 lavoro come docente di informatica in una scuola superiore, mettendomi a confronto con classi da 20-30 alunni. Ho capito molte cose, forse complice il lockdown, di me e dei ragazzi. Ho capito quanto i ragazzi non si sentano compresi, ma soprattutto quanto la scuola abbia bisogno di una evoluzione digitale per diventare più smart, piú green, per gestire ogni situazione emergenziale e non, e per parlare di più il linguaggio dei giovani d’oggi. Each lesson is designed for you to achieve the following learning objectives: Understand a specific concept. Perform the concept. Write the concept as maths notation or programming code. Develop exam technique. Using custom digital learning tools, you will be exposed to a hands on approach to learning the concepts behind maths and computing. My lessons begin with a visual presentation explaining the focus topic, followed by interactive exercises that help you to experiment, express and reinforce your understanding. With my support and collaboration, each exercise challenges you to describe and refine your thinking process to solve a puzzle using the skills taught in the presentation. Once you are confident in your ability, the lesson progresses to applying your understanding of the concepts to creating and understanding written notation and code. This stage of the lesson prepares you with the ability to work with exam questions and other assessments that you are preparing for. The most important component of effective tuition is your ability to practise between lessons. To help you gain the most benefit from my tuition, the digital learning exercises are made available to you as a practise tool between lessons. My learning tools also allow you to receive feedback on your practise throughout the week or during the next lesson.
