Hello, I am Kellyn Jeremy. I have a graduate degree in Education and a TEFL certificate of 300 hours. I worked diligently to complete my certificate to teach English online because I wanted to support students in a different way. I wanted to be able to reach new students from across the world. I have worked with adults and children online for several years. I also have experience supporting students with dyslexia, as well as those with reading and spelling challenges. I enjoy teaching online, and my approach has been to focus on the needs of the students in every class. This helps me to stay on tracking of helping the student meet their goals. Hello there. My name is Lundikazi but you can call me Lundi if you like. I am from South Africa, a diverse country that has 11 official languages. Learning a language or a module can be very daunting, especially if you are alone. But you are not alone because I will be with you every step of the way. Being in such a diverse country I have explored different ways in which one can practice when learning a different language. And I have found that out of all the methods, none compares to having someone speak that language with you. Why am I saying so? I am saying this because, when you have someone speaking that language with you, not only does your vocabulary increase but the exposure to that language, sharpens your conversational skills (which will be our main focus) and exposes you to how words are pronounced. Soy una profesora de inglés con 15 años de experiencia, tras haber trabajado durante 12 años como gerente y conferencista en Finanzas y Marketing. A lo largo de mi carrera docente, he tenido el privilegio de colaborar con grandes empresas como BP, Siemens, SAAB, Lukoil y el Banco Nacional Checo (ČSOB), así como con varios ministerios gubernamentales, incluyendo el Fondo Nacional de Petróleo de Azerbaiyán y el Ministerio de Comunicación de Azerbaiyán.
He enseñado a estudiantes de todas las edades, desde niños hasta adultos, tanto en línea como presencialmente. Tengo experiencia preparando alumnos para exámenes como TOEFL, FCE e IELTS, además de evaluar profesionalmente las habilidades de inglés de candidatos en BP. Mis clases son altamente profesionales y se adaptan a las necesidades específicas de cada estudiante.
Mi metodología de enseñanza se centra completamente en el estudiante, ya que cada persona aprende de manera diferente. Mientras que el método directo funciona bien para algunos, otros se benefician más del enfoque comunicativo (CLT). Adapto mi trabajo al nivel y estilo de aprendizaje de cada estudiante, y siempre los animo a participar y hablar lo máximo posible en clase. Gracias a este enfoque personalizado, muchos de mis alumnos han continuado estudiando conmigo durante tres años o más. Algunos han aprobado el examen IELTS y emigrado al extranjero, otros han ingresado a las escuelas de su elección y varios han obtenido ascensos profesionales.
Soy originaria de Estados Unidos, pero he pasado los últimos 15 años enseñando en el extranjero, en República Checa, Turquía, Ucrania, Azerbaiyán, China (en línea) y Georgia. Hablo cinco idiomas, lo cual considero que ha enriquecido enormemente mi labor como docente. Habiendo experimentado tanto malos como excelentes profesores, comprendo de primera mano lo que realmente ayuda a los estudiantes a tener éxito. Este recorrido personal es lo que me diferencia de otros maestros: ya he pasado por este proceso y sé, por experiencia propia, qué es lo que realmente funciona.

Soy profesora de portugués y español desde que me licencié en 2013. Soy graduada en Letras y Pedagogía en Brasil y en España finalicé un máster en Lingüística Teórica y Aplicada en la Universidad de Murcia. Tengo experiencia en la enseñanza de idiomas para extranjeros hace muchos años y nunca dejo de estudiar para siempre estar enterada de las nuevas metodologías sobre el aprendizaje de lenguas.
Mis clases se adaptan a las necesidades de mis alumnos y se ocupan de contenidos linguísticos, conversación y también de aspectos culturales de Brasil y España. Soy bastante atenta y entiendo que cada estudiante tiene su tiempo para aprender.
Corrijo todos los errores (pero no te preocupes, lo hago de una manera muy amable :-D). Mantengo y valoro un espacio seguro para que el estudiante se sienta cómodo para expresarse libremente sin temor a ser juzgado.

Estuve dando clases desde los 18 hasta los 27 años de muchas formas distintas (en academias, online, presenciales, a grupos, individuales...).
Mientras preparo mis oposiciones a profesora de ESO y Bachiller, quiero volver a retomar contacto con esto de explicar sintaxis y traducción, que a fin de cuentas, es mi vocación.

Hello, my name is Corinne, I have been teaching on Classgap since December 2021. I obtained my TEFL certificate 3 years ago, where I started my journey of teaching English online. I have loved being a teacher on this platform, and meeting so many people from all over Spain, South America, and Europe.
Teaching online is different from classrooms, and way more interesting, with much more talk time. One of my most effective methods is the communicative language teaching style. This is where I will teach the English language based on the types of situations my students will find themselves in whilst going about their general daily lives. I find this to be highly effective because the students can then put into place what they have learnt once they leave the classroom.
The second style I use is a hybrid style where I will teach the subject using my knowledge and my life experiences whilst staying within the boundaries of the curriculum. This enables me to stay flexible based on the educational needs and learning styles of the students I am responsible for.
We do classes with lots of speaking, learning new vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, as well as prepare for exams.
