Hi, I'm Simon and I qualified as an English teacher at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in 1997. I've worked non-stop ever since so that means I've taught over 25,000 hours of English to thousands of students. After qualifying, I worked in Warsaw, Poland from 1997 to 2007, teaching both in companies and a school. In 2007, I returned to the UK and worked in a language school for over 12 years, teaching students from all round the world. I joined Classgap in June 2020 and have helped approximately 90 students improve their language since then. I can teach all levels of English from beginner to advanced but I specialise in exam English and business English. The exams I help students prepare for are: B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) and the biggest English exam in the world, IELTS. With my business students, I help them speak English more fluently in their work environment. I often use existing materials when teaching but I also enjoy making my own worksheets and Power Point Presentations to adapt my courses to the student's individual needs. I teach online seven days a week. From Monday to Friday I am available from the morning to the evening and on Saturday and Sunday students can book a morning class.
