I am able to teach mathematics in english because I prepare my students for the ICGSE Mathematics exams (extended course) and for A-level Mathematics. I think that studying mathematics following the english rules is stimulating because it is something that I?ve ever done before. I prepared myself by studying the english syllabus and by doing all the exercises of the past papers. My students obtained very good results and I hope to go on doing this in the school where I teach and with students that want to try to do mathematics with english methodology.

Mi nombre es Carolina, Me encanta enseñar, hice clases particulares durante toda mi vida universitaria, por lo que tengo mucha experiencia. Mi fuerte es matemática, para los niveles pre-basica, básica, media y preparación PSU. Enfocándome en que el alumno entienda y pueda descifrar cada una de las fórmulas y temas a tratar por sí solo y que sea capaz de poder comprender los problemas a modo de llegar a una solución correcta de forma eficiente y efectiva. También hago clases de inglés, idioma que hablo fluido hace ya 13 años. Creo que la magia del inglés es dejar de querer traducir y orientar al alumno para que sea capaz de pensar en inglés para poder entender y comprender su estructura, lo que facilita increíblemente el aprendizaje. Mi metodología en general es lograr que el alumno descubra su potencial, se sienta seguro y con ganas de seguir creciendo, con clases dinámicas y dejando un poco de lado la estructura "esto es así, así que debes aprenderlo".

Mi pasión son las matemáticas desde que era pequeña y con el tiempo se convirtieron en mi día a día, en mi profesión. Cada día disfruto más de mi trabajo y de estar en constante relación con las matemáticas. Y aunque para muchos las matemáticas sean una pesadilla, yo me siento muy afortunada de poder trabajar con ellas a diario y de ayudar a los alumnos a entenderlas e incluso a apreciarlas.
