My Methods of teaching have been proven successful over the years. Here is an outline of how I work: Firstly I get an understanding of what level my student is at, what topics they need the most help in, and what grade they want to aim for. I then send the relevant resource as a starter to make a thorough assessment of what is specifically needed for the student to move forward. From this assessment I can formulate a teaching plan for the individual student. As progress grows and I see they have proved their understanding by mastering the topics, I move them up a level... So they are working at the pace that is best for them individually. My approach is to translate maths into a simple and easy to understand format that enables them to retain the concepts which in turn gives them confidence. Most of my students exceeded their targets and others comfortably achieved their goal. I give weekly feedback reports to parents as to how the child is progressing. I have a stress free, relaxed classroom with a touch of humour where my students can enjoy learning. It gives me great satisfaction when I see my students are happy, grasping the concepts and genuinely enjoying maths. I teach ALL maths levels and I have much experience with GCSE and A-level maths!
