Teaching has always been one of my passions together with travelling, photography and cooking! About the lessons: My lessons are conversational lessons for students with B2+ level of Spanish. I prioritize a communicative approach so that the student can gain confidence when speaking in public or everyday situations. Also, I use authentic texts to expose the students to real life input. Yemina is a great teacher, super friendly and professional. Even after the first lesson I felt that I had learnt a lot more than from practising with apps before. It helped me a lot that she shared a document/whiteboard on which we worked together to cover the basic grammar and vocabulary. Although I usually find practising grammar/conjugations a bit boring, with her it was fun because she knows interesting anecdotes about the origins of the words. We would often branch out and explore the context of a particular word more, compare their similarities and differences to English. As I had practised only very little before, I was surprised how well and how much we were still able to converse in Spanish during the lesson. Whenever I didn't understand something or could not express myself we would switch to English, in which she is just as knowledgable.
I'd very much recommend Yemina to anyone, and am looking forward to my next lesson already :)
