My name is Sherry, and I’m from Guangdong, China. Chinese is my native language, and I’ve grown up fully immersed in the language and culture. I also hold an International Chinese Teacher Certificate, which allows me to teach Chinese in a clear and professional way to learners from all over the world. I have a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communication, which helped me develop strong communication skills and understand how language and culture are closely connected. That’s something I love to bring into my lessons—so when you learn Chinese with me, you’re also getting a little taste of Chinese culture. Outside the classroom, I’m a big fan of the outdoors. I love hiking and scuba diving. To me, learning a new language is a lot like exploring nature—it requires curiosity, patience, and a little bit of courage. That’s the spirit I try to share with my students too.
