Hello! My name is Vaughn Nelson, I've been an English teacher for over 15 years. I have a degree in Business Administration from James Madison University and a TEFL and TESOL Training Cirtificate. The main 2 things I'm most passionate about are teaching and travelling. I've travelled to 10 different countries and have lived in more than 4, the longest of which was China. I spent nearly 16 years in China, gaining not only life experience but also experience teaching English as a foreign language. I try to get a personal feel for each student as everyone is different and unique. Classes need to meet the needs and abilities to create and ensure the best possible learning environment. In accordance with my assessment, I try to grade my spoken English and vocabulary to meet each students individual needs (1 to 1). I believe my travels, dedication, passion for teaching and sense of humour have helped me become a better teacher. My travels have helped me learn more about how the English language can differ depending on the region that it's used in. I believe dedication speaks for itself but passion, passion is important because watching students improve and grow more confident is rewarding and makes me want to do better. Without humour, classes become dull and forgettable. I look forward to hearing from you and hope to be your English teacher in the future.
