I am a native English speaker from Jamaica with six years of teaching experience in Jamaica and the United States. Having lived and worked in both countries, I have developed a strong understanding of English communication, grammar, pronunciation, and different cultural approaches to language learning. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education and a 120-hour TEFL certification. My teaching background has helped me develop the skills to support students with different learning styles, abilities, and goals. As an English teacher, I focus on creating a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving their skills. I use interactive activities, real-life conversations, and personalized lessons to help learners develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I am passionate about helping students achieve their English goals and enjoy connecting with learners from different cultures around the world.
