Hi, I'm Szymon! I'm a Maths and Physics tutor with hands-on experience teaching GCSE Maths and Physics, individually and in small groups. I achieved 8 GCSE grade 9s, A grades in A-level Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, in addition to Silver awards in both the Junior Maths and Physics Olympiads. I have direct experience with AQA Physics and OCR Maths, and recently helped a student improve from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in just three months. My approach is built around one core belief: real progress comes from understanding the foundations of a subject, not just memorising answers. I help students see how concepts across the curriculum connect to one another so that they can fully grasp its breadth, allowing them to access those higher marks. As former Head Student at Lincoln UTC, I developed a clear and patient communication style, supporting my peers through exam preparation by simplifying difficult ideas through simple analogies — stripping away intimidating terminology so students can engage with the subject without fear. I also build tailored revision materials for each student to reinforce what we cover together.
