Hello! My name is Susan, and I’m a passionate, patient, and dedicated Mathematics and Chemistry tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Mathematics and Chemistry. I believe that every student can improve when they are given the right guidance, clear explanations, and a comfortable environment in which to learn. My approach is to break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and help students understand the “why” behind what they are learning rather than relying only on memorization. I have practical teaching experience from my teaching practice at Metembe SDA Secondary School, as well as volunteer teaching experience. These experiences have strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt my explanations to different learners, and create supportive learning environments. For Mathematics, I can help students develop their understanding of concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, work through challenging questions, and gain confidence in topics they find difficult. For Chemistry, I focus on helping students understand concepts, equations, calculations, reactions, and other challenging areas through clear explanations and guided practice. My lessons are patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs and level. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace because I believe that understanding comes before perfection.
