My aim in class is always to encourage students to communicate by speaking English as much as possible, depending on their level. I am a facilitator who provides a safe, relaxed and very positive environment for the student to try out his or her English in an atmosphere designed to inspire confidence. I have over 15 years' experience teaching but I also have Management qualifications and varied experience in Business and Hospitality. Therefore, as well as offering General English and all the Cambridge examinations, I am able to teach business, management and other specialist English classes. I speak clearly, have a wide general knowledge and am always friendly, relaxed, professional, competent, enthusiastic and patient.

Stephen is a great teacher but also a person with great empathy, approachable and always adapting the classes to enhance both what we are bad at and what we are good at. I have been preparing for the CAE (C1) and I passed it on the first try. He has also helped me to feel more comfortable and confident with my English, as it was very difficult for me to speak English in public. It's the first time I've enjoyed learning a language and I would definitely recommend him, he is an excellent teacher.
