Hello, my name is Dr. Soumya Kanti Ganguly, (SKG in short). I am from Kolkata, India. I am interested in all branches of Science and Technology with a special liking for Maths and Physics. Physics to me is `one' subject, since I do not like to distinguish whether it is Theoretical physics or Astrophysics or some other physics. I have the habit of looking at problems from a `PHYSICS' point of view. It helps, because more than half of the problem is solved, if resorted to this approach. A `good teacher' is the sum of bad experiences as a student. Hence, I have learned to place myself in the student's shoes. To me teaching is more of a discussion rather than a one way conversation. In my seventeen years of teaching experience, I had students of all kinds. Many have excelled, others have passed with moderate marks, but all were able to overcome their fear for the subject and appreciate its beauty and richness in course of time.
