Hello! I'm Simon, a native British English speaker and qualified linguist from England. I have taught English in both Spain and Brazil and have spent my entire professional career working with languages, primarily as a professional translator from Spanish, Portuguese and Italian into English. I hold a BA (Hons) in Language Studies from the Open University, diplomas in English Language Studies and Sociology, and a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, which means I can explain English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in your own language when necessary. This can be particularly helpful if you're a beginner or don't yet feel confident speaking English. Having spent much of my life learning foreign languages myself, I understand the challenges and frustrations involved, as well as the satisfaction of finally being able to communicate confidently. My lessons are relaxed, friendly and adapted to your individual needs, whether you want to improve your conversation skills, develop your professional English or build a stronger foundation in grammar and vocabulary.
