Hi, I'm Simon! I am a London native living in Valencia, qualified for the Cambridge CELTA / TEFL. I teach all levels and ages, but I specialize in preparing students for Cambridge B1 (Preliminary), B2 (First), and Advanced (C1) exams. I have Oxford and Cambridge textbooks for each level, as well as past exam papers, so don't worry about buying books. My classes are mainly focused on conversation to improve fluency, improve pronunciation and learning idiomatic and colloquial expressions that allow the student to interact like a native and gain confidence. I studied English Literature at University and I have a love for the language that I will pass on. I teach writing, listening, reading, grammar, but I focus particularly on speaking. A very important skill that you can't learn from a book. I have many hobbies, including: art, movies and literature. I teach in English for an immersive experience, but can help in Spanish if needed. Simon es un profesor que se interesa en primer lugar por conocer tus objetivos y es por eso que las clases son efectivas, además te aporta material para prepararlas, si tú quieres. Y en segundo lugar sus clases son muy amenas y divertidas con lo cual es un aliciente más para esperar con ganas la siguiente. Yo personalmente me estoy preparando el C1 y lo recomiendo gratamente.

Great Classes with Simon !

I'm sure that there is a bunch of good and experienced teachers in classgap. But Simon makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. Book a free class with him and after that, you probably book many more. It's native an expert in Cambridge and Trinity certificate preparation. Five-star teacher! He doesn't let you down!

Without any doubt Simon is the teacher you are looking for! His classes are interesting, stimulating and really funny. I feel super grateful to have found him unexpectedly. A great surprise, his accent is super British! Love it! Definitely the best way of learning and practising a language, I totally recommend him.

I chose Simon because I wanted to improve my spoken English and my experience has been very good. The classes with him fly by and I find them very enjoyable and we always talk about interesting topics. He is very dedicated and prepares his classes very well. Las clases con el se me pasan volando y se me hacen muy amenas y siempre hablamos de temas i ... nteresantes. Es muy dedicado y se prepara muy bien las clases.

Con la ayuda de Simon conseguí el certificado C1 y ahora continuo con sus clases para seguir mejorando mi inglés y porque realmente disfruto de sus clases, mi meta ahora con la ayuda de Simon es conseguir el C2. Es un gran profesor muy motivante y muy profesional. Os lo recomiendo al 100%.

Me gustan mucho las clases de Simon, son divertidas y a la vez aprendo contenidos, vocabulario, expresiones y mejoro la fluidez del idioma. Noto la mejoría en mi nivel de inglés desde que comencé con las clases. Gran profesor con vocación por su trabajo. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Simon es el maestro nativo mejor que he conocido aquí en Valencia. Las clases siempre son interesantes, personalizadas y él no me hace sentir tonta cuando no entiendo algo en seguida.
