Hi! My name is Santiago Cilley. I’m a bass player and musician with more than 20 years of experience performing live, recording in studios, and working on musical projects across different genres. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production (Universidad de las Artes, Ecuador) and I am currently finishing a Master’s Degree in Sound Art (Universidad de Quilmes, Argentina). My lessons are designed for beginner and intermediate students who want a clear, practical, and musical approach to learning the bass. From the very first class, you will start playing and working with exercises tailored to your level. What we can work on together: Fingerstyle technique, slap, and instrument control Groove, rhythm, and timing Creating basslines for rock, funk, reggae, jazz, blues, neo soul, pop, and Latin music Music theory applied to the bass (focused on what you actually need) Playing with bands and supporting songs effectively Basic rhythm reading Progressive exercises to build sound, confidence, and precision My goal is to help you progress every week, enjoy the learning process, and develop your own musical identity.
