Hello! I’m Safiya, a qualified educator and TEFL-certified English teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, where I majored in English and graduated cum laude. I also received the Graduate of Excellence Award from my university. I lived in Istanbul and can also speak Turkish. I have 8 years of teaching experience, most of which has been online, working mainly with learners aged 6–11. My teaching style is engaging, supportive, and focused on helping students build confidence in English or Turkish, while making learning enjoyable. I love turning complex ideas into something simple, connecting with students from different cultures and creating lessons that are interactive, meaningful, and suited to meet each learner’s goals.
