I’m Rashitha, a passionate Mathematics tutor with a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Distinction, currently pursuing my MSc in Mathematics and holding a PGCEi from Liverpool John Moores University, UK. I have 2 years of experience tutoring international students and follow a student-centred teaching philosophy focused on critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving. I connect mathematical concepts to real-life applications and break complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. With a strong interest in curriculum and lesson design, I create personalised PPTs, worksheets, MCQs and study materials based on each student’s needs. I also use Google Forms and short assessments to identify strengths and learning gaps, analyse student responses, and adapt my teaching strategies accordingly. My PGCEi has strengthened my critical reflection and inclusive teaching practices, helping me create engaging, supportive and personalised learning experiences for every student.
