Hello, I am Rachel, a passionate English Language tutor from Nigeria with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies and an NYSC Discharge Certificate. I have three years of teaching experience, during which I have taught both junior and senior secondary school students. My academic background and teaching experience have equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively support students in developing their English language abilities. My passion for teaching continues to grow, and I enjoy helping learners overcome difficulties and become more confident in using English. My teaching approach focuses on communication, active student engagement, and adapting lessons to suit each learner’s age, level, and individual needs. I believe students learn better when they are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and express themselves comfortably. I pay close attention to students’ progress and identify areas where they may need additional support. I also simplify complex topics and provide clear, practical explanations to make learning easier and more enjoyable. My goal is to create a friendly, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students can improve their English skills, build confidence, and achieve their learning objectives.
