I hold a master’s degree in physics from EPFL, with a specialization in astrophysics, and have been tutoring students in math and physics for several years. I have also worked as a teaching assistant at EPFL in mechanics and thermodynamics, and have participated in various teaching and science outreach activities with school and college students. I particularly enjoy teaching science and helping students overcome their challenges. For me, the key is not to memorize formulas or methods, but to understand the concepts and reasoning behind them. So I try to tailor my explanations to each student, go back to the basics when necessary, and gradually develop their intuition and independence when tackling exercises. My goal is for students to eventually be able to understand why a method works and to solve problems on their own.
