Hello! I’m Paul, a native British English speaker and TEFL-qualified English tutor from the UK. Before becoming an English tutor, I gained extensive experience as a workplace trainer, training thousands of adults from many different countries and backgrounds. That experience taught me that everyone learns differently. I like to start by getting to know you, understanding why you are learning English and finding out where you would most like to improve. I can then organise our lessons around your individual goals rather than using exactly the same approach with every student. My classes are friendly, relaxed and practical, with plenty of opportunities for you to speak and use English in realistic situations. I can help you with conversational British English, speaking confidence, English for everyday life in the UK, workplace communication and preparing for job interviews. I’m patient and approachable, so you don’t need to worry about making mistakes. We’ll use them to identify what we need to work on and build your confidence step by step. Whether you want English for work, life in the UK or simply to feel more comfortable having conversations, I’d be very happy to help you achieve your goals.
