Hello! I am Parisah. I am 27 years old and from London, England. I am an English teacher with 4 years experience teaching 4-18 year olds both online and offline, as well as adults ages 25+ online. My main experience has been teaching IELTS in Vietnam and South East Asia alongside pre teen classes. I would say my teaching style is a mix between demonstrator/facilitator best describes my style of teaching. I also try to blend in my own personality and interests into my lessons when appropriate. I use a facilitator style of teaching. I organize activities for my students to promote learning through action and practice. This style promotes working together, practical application of the language, and enable students to discover where they are flourishing, and what they need to work on. I have a TEFL certificate and have a lot of experience teaching both on and offline. I am a naturally friendly and passionate person who values a strong connection with the students I teach. I believe I am good at bringing even shy students out of their shell and create an atmosphere where students feel confident and comfortable. I am an outgoing, passionate person. I love teaching and enjoying meeting new people. I am a naturally friendly person and find it easy to connect with just about anyone. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking, photography and taking care of my pet cats in my free time.
