Hello! I am Nonhlanzeko Nxumalo, a qualified English teacher from Pretoria, South Africa. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, plus 3 years of experience teaching English to kids, teens, and adults. English is not my first language either, so I really understand the challenges of learning it — and exactly how to overcome them! I keep things simple, fun, and focused on you. No boring textbooks page-by-page. We will use games, real-life topics, and lots of speaking practice so you build confidence fast. I’m patient, I explain grammar in easy ways, and I will correct your mistakes gently so you’re never afraid to talk. We will chat about your goals. Exam preparation? Job interviews? Travel? I’ll design everything around that. We will warm-up, new target language, practice through speaking, and a quick recap + homework if you want it. And after class, I will send you notes + feedback so you can see your progress. Whether you’re a complete beginner A1 or working toward B2/C1 fluency, I’ll meet you at your level and help you reach the next one. I’m a very approachable person and make my students feel comfortable, because learning happens best when you’re relaxed and smiling!
