Hello! 😊 My name is Thando and I am a TEFL/TESOL-certified English tutor from South Africa. My classes are friendly, relaxed, and focused on helping you speak English with confidence. I have previous online teaching experience and I have also lived in the USA, Belgium, and France, where I worked as an au pair and supported both children and adults in improving their English communication skills. In my lessons, I always adapt to the student’s goals. Whether you want to improve conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, Business English, interview preparation, or exam practice like IELTS or TOEIC, I will design lessons that suit your needs and level. My teaching style is very interactive. I encourage students to speak as much as possible, because I believe confidence comes from practice. Mistakes are always welcome in my classroom because that is how we learn and improve. I understand what it feels like to learn a new language because I have personally learned French, Dutch, and Spanish while living abroad. This helps me be patient, supportive, and understanding with my students.
