Hello there! I am a Biotechnologist specialising in drug development. I am into biology, chemistry and biochemical engineering. I enjoy making connections between science that I learned in school and everyday life actions. This technique helped me to complete assignments and pass exams and will help you too! In high school, it was hard to enjoy these subjects when under pressure, therefore I want to make my lessons relaxing and lift some of the weight from your shoulders and make the subject learning fun. First and foremost my lessons are tailored to YOUR needs - how you learn makes a big impact on your understanding of school material. I am aiming to create a comfortable, relaxed and motivating space where you can come to at ANY knowledge/skill level and ASK any questions. :) Despite, my science-heavy background I make the lessons creative and fun and I encourage my students to think outside of the science subjects. I create my own materials for each class and use a tablet to easily draw structures and mechanisms, write down chemical reactions and step-by-step calculations.

Monika used to tutor me in biology for the International Baccalaureate programme. She was a wonderful teacher, who was patient and she was great at breaking down complex concepts into understandable and engaging material. She’s also very friendly, and always very well prepared. She managed to get me up two grade points and in my final exam I achieved a 6/7 as a final grade after I had struggled through for two years. I could not have done it without her help and can highly recommend her as a tutor.
