I am interested in the intricacies of computer programming. When I teach people how to code, I prefer to explain why code is written the way it is, and not just how to write it; I use demonstrations and real-life examples with whiteboarding along with intensive and interactive code examples. As a JavaScript instructor, I put emphasis on CS fundamentals and complicated concepts in programming in general, which include data structures and algorithms. My students enjoy time with me because I make them feel comfortable when I discuss these things.
