Good day! I am Mr Michael John Shine and hold a masters in Professional Master of Education in Post Primary Education and also a Batchelor of Arts in History and Greek and Roman Civilization. I have two years teaching experience in secondary school with emphasis on Junior and Leaving Certificate levels. I organise my lessons to match the learning outcomes of each topic we cover. I break down material as we know history has a lot of writing but in my classes we pull the most important aspects and form paragraphs to memorise them better. We use videos to better analyse and picture historic events and engage deeply with primary and secondary sources to understand history. It is a friendly learning environment where we also will play Kahoots to have fun while learning. My goal is for my students to never feel as if they aren't processing the material covered and we will work together to achieve success. :)
