Hey! How are you? My name is Micaela, I'm from Argentina, and I consider myself a passionate English teacher with a hobby that I use as a great tool in my classes: editing. You'll always see me with a colorful presentation at hand, lists, and conceptual charts. With empathy, attention to detail, and creativity, I prepare each class to make it 100% aligned with your goals, always adding a #funfact to help you keep improving your English. I've been teaching English at all levels and ages for almost four years now. I am certified with the First Certificate in English (FCE) and the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), two exams from Cambridge University (England). I have worked with children and teenagers at an English institute, provided school tutoring, and currently teach online academies, working with adults, young adults, teenagers, and children. I have also successfully prepared students for the FCE, TOEIC, and APTIS exams. In all my classes, I promote a DYNAMIC and PERSONALIZED way of learning, where we will work on breaking down all real and mental obstacles you may have with learning this beautiful language. We'll analyze videos, series, movie clips, and your favorite songs; we'll play games and engage in activities with colors, drawings, arrows, conceptual charts, and more. The main goal is not just to learn grammar, vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, and comprehension but also to enjoy the process and apply English in all your areas of interest. Additionally, in every class, I set aside a few minutes exclusively for conversation practice, as it's the skill where all the knowledge comes together and, for many, the most intimidating one. But don’t worry! There’s nothing to fear here! In every session, I'll provide tips, digital resources, and essential tools to help you improve minute by minute so that you leave each class motivated to keep learning and practicing—both in class and independently. And remember, we learn from mistakes, and trying again and again is what leads to your greatest achievements! No matter your goal, I will approach it step by step with presentations of the content, an extra vocabulary section with new words that may come up, and access to a Google Drive/Classroom folder with all the materials we use in class: BOOKS, STORIES, NOVELS, PDFs, DICTIONARIES, and more. Exclusive for ENGLISH FOR WORK: If you want to learn specific vocabulary for your professional or academic field, such as Human Resources, we will use materials with phrases and key terms tailored to your area of interest. I'll give you the necessary tools to stand out in a job interview and express yourself confidently. I will help you create your CV in English. You'll learn how to write professional emails.
