Hello! I’m Matt, a native English speaker from the United States with specialties in teaching Business English and IELTS test preparation. In 2008 I received my CELTA teaching certificate from the University of Cambridge, and over the past 12 years I have taught English in the US, South Korea, Poland, and Germany (where I currently reside), and tutored adult A1 beginners all the way up to the advanced C2 level. During that time I have also worked as a freelance copywriter and online marketer, helping native and non-native English speakers around the world to express their ideas more clearly and effectively. In 1:1 lessons, this means that I try to give equal time to correcting your mistakes as well as building your skills and confidence to speak clearly and fluently.
