Hi! I have a Master's in Global Human Development from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics with an English minor from the University at Buffalo. I have more than five years of experience helping students with English, Economics, and college applications. I'm a supportive, encouraging, empathetic teacher who believes in every student's potential. I teach by working directly with your own writing, error patterns, and the specific exam/application material you're facing — not generic drills. For essay writing and applications, I ask questions that surface your own material rather than handing you templates. For AP/IB exams, we focus on the reasoning and the writing that carries it, working under time pressure. I'd rather teach you to understand how to be a good writer than hand you a formula. Once you learn how to learn and think, you can accomplish anything! I tutor students aged 18+
