Good Afternoon, my name is Kaitlyn, and I also go by Teacher Kaitlyn. I am from South Africa. Teaching has always been my passion, and I started tutoring when I was seventeen years old. From a young age, I discovered how rewarding it is to help students understand something new and see their confidence grow. I have worked in a preschool as well as at a tutoring centre, where I taught English, History, and Business Studies. These experiences allowed me to work with learners of different ages and abilities, helping me develop a patient and supportive teaching style. One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is my compassion and genuine love for children. I believe every learner is unique, and I always strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. I focus on understanding each child’s individual needs, learning style, and pace so that I can adapt my lessons to support them in the best possible way. Whether a student needs extra guidance, encouragement, or a different approach to understanding a topic, I make sure my lessons are flexible and engaging so every learner has the opportunity to succeed. I currently hold a Higher Certificate in Preschool Education, and I am working towards completing my Bachelor of Social Sciences . I am passionate about continuing to grow as an educator and expanding my knowledge so that I can provide the best possible learning experience for my students.
