He is a pleasure to speak with that I forgot for a brief moment that I was learning and then felt amazing that I was able to carry on the conversation well. I started taking classes with Jose recently and he's really helped me to identify my weaknesses in the language and have a very thorough plan of attack. I can be a difficult student as I have very little patience for "fill in the blank" exercises and grammar drills. I prefer conversational classes, but as an advanced student I don't always know how to build my vocabulary further or where to start... Our classes are super dynamic and conversational and fun, the time passes so quickly! He's even assigning me homework to clarify my lingering doubts with reflexible verbs and uses of subjunctive tenses... I recommend him 100 percent! Particularly for Intermediate levels that want to "break out" of beginners Spanish and learn how to communicate in a more natural way.

José is the best!!! I’ve been working with him for almost a year and it’s been the best decision ever. He is such an amazing teacher, passion for teaching, patient, and very good at tailoring the class to your strengths, weaknesses and needs. If I could give more than 5 starts I would. My spanish has progressed in a way I have no experienced with other teachers and courses. I highly highly recommend José, you will not regret it!

One of the best tutors, Jose always keeps a smile on his face and spread positive energy during class. He keeps encouraging me, and always sends files and videos after class which helps me revise the material. I am willing to continue my classes with Jose, and I can't wait to start having conversations in Spanish confidently!

I am very happy with José's classes. I am a demanding person and starting from zero I have wanted to learn basic Spanish in a short space of time. I am French and maybe I don't have to make such a big effort due to the similarities with the languages, but José makes it very easy for me. I never feel bored, his classes are fun and I always want more. In the beginning we spoke in English, but now we can converse in Spanish. I'm not afraid of being wrong, because that's what these classes are for, to learn and be more confident. I recommend him to other beginners like me.
